Have Questions?
We have answers.

ClueQuest can be tailored for any age — from early elementary through adults. Every quest is designed specifically for the players involved, so the level of challenge, pacing, and complexity adjust accordingly.
For younger children, we recommend some basic reading ability. However, we can easily design clues that rely more on pictures, symbols, and simple instructions, with optional adult guidance when needed. Just let us know the ages involved, and we’ll build the experience to fit.
-
Absolutely. Whether you’re planning a dinosaur expedition, a unicorn fantasy, a spy mission, or even something that fits into your Cards Against Humanity adult game night, we can design the quest to match your theme.
Clues, props, and tone can all be customized to reflect the vibe you’re going for — whimsical, mysterious, competitive, silly, elegant, or anything in between.
If you have a theme in mind, we’ll build around it. If you don’t, that’s fine too!

If you’re within our travel radius, we’re happy to handle setup for you. In-person setup allows us to include elements that require day-of preparation — like frozen clues, timed reveals, or outdoor physical challenges (chalk “obstacle courses” are always a hit with younger players).
Prefer to set it up yourself? No problem. We can deliver the supplies to your doorstep with clear instructions.
If you’re outside our travel radius, we can ship your custom quest to you with step-by-step setup guidance.
There is no additional cost for customers within our travel radius, regardless of which setup option you choose.
If you’re outside the radius but would like in-person setup, we’re happy to provide a travel quote. For shipped quests, we ask that clients cover shipping costs up to $50.
-
No. The quote you receive is the maximum you’ll pay.
If we decide to add extra elements during the design process — because we think they’ll make the experience even better — those additions are included at no extra charge.
If a quest ends up requiring less preparation time than originally estimated, we’ll adjust the final cost to reflect that.
No surprises, no hidden fees.

A short video walkthrough is the easiest way for us to understand your space and identify great hiding spots, sightlines, and flow between rooms.
Prefer not to send a video? Completely understandable. You can share a few photos or simply describe the layout instead. We’ll work with whatever level of detail you’re comfortable providing.
Throughout the design process, we may follow up with a few specific questions (for example: Is there a full-length mirror? Do you have a shoe rack near the entry? How large is the dining table?). These small details help us design clues that feel seamless and intentional in your home.

Because every ClueQuest experience is designed from scratch, there isn’t a catalog of pre-set clues to browse.
Instead, we collaborate with you. During the consultation, we’ll talk through the types of challenges that would best fit your space, your group, and the overall vibe you’re going for.
If you have something specific in mind — a cipher, a physical challenge, a hidden compartment, a dramatic reveal — we’re happy to incorporate it. And if you’d rather be surprised, we can handle that too.

The earlier, the better. Booking in advance helps ensure your preferred date and gives us ample time to design something truly memorable.
We recommend reaching out at least one month before your event whenever possible. That said, we understand that plans come together quickly — and we’ll always do our best to accommodate your timeline.
